TODAY'S YOUTH...
TOMORROW'S LEADERS

The NAACP ACT-SO program is a prestigious platform for high school students to showcase their talent in various fields. Originally created to highlight underrepresented Black excellence, the program now embraces diverse cultures and identities. Join us in fostering talent, competition, and the pursuit of academic and artistic achievements.

Compete at National Level

Top performers advance to the National ACT-SO Competition in July, competing for prestigious awards, scholarships, and cash prizes.

Diverse Categories

Participants can compete in categories ranging from STEM, Humanities, Visual Arts, to Business, showcasing a wide array of talents.

Become an ACT-SO Volunteer

Seminole County ACT-SO community members may volunteer as mentors, sponsors, organizers, or educational partners. Schools, local businesses, community organizations, churches, foundations, and major corporations provide critical support to the program.

Help our children develop the confidence and skills needed to excel in school and in life.
